Частный случай для М50 и Билайна.
1. Запускаете kppp.
2. Он не запускается.
3. Ругаетесь матом, из под рута дописываете юзера в /etc/kppp.allow
4. Запускаете kppp.
5. Создаёте соединение.
6. Номер телефона - *99***1, тип авторизации - PAP\CHAP, ДНС сервера - 217.118.066.243, 217.118.066.244(подставить ДНСы вашего опсоса)
7. Потом в параметрах kppp - управление потоком - программное, перенос строки - CR\LF, скорость - 57600.
8. Затем идёте "Параметры-Модем-Команды модема". Там в строке инициализации пишете - AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet.beeline.ru" (подставить APN вашего опсоса)
9. Вводите логин\пароль beeline (подставить .... ну да вы поняли... ;) )
10. Ругаетесь матом снова.
11. Потому, что не соединяет.
12. В командах модема поиграться с таймаутами в сторону увеличения.
13. Так как по прежнему ничего не работает, не забыть поставить опции "novj" и "novjccomp" pppd-демону.
14. Неплохо бы также поставить опцию mtu 128. Как показала практика, для ГПРС-а - само то.
15. Ввести поправку на то, что я забыл про самое важное и опустил наиболее интересное.
А вообще, у меня есть вполне рабочие скрипты для pppd... (см. аттач)
Запускается от рута "pppd call gprs-mts". Несмотря на название скрипта настройки - для БиЛайна.
