Добрый день всем.
Может, этот вопрос уже и поднимался, но я тут человек новый, так что i'm sorry.
Захотелось Win4Lin поставить.
ALM 2.2 с наипоследнейшим Сизифом (вот прямо сейчас очередной dist-upgrade убивает зачем-то gnumeric).
Ядра:
kernel24-up-2.4.20-alt7
kernel-image-std-up-2.4.21rel-alt14
kernel-image-wks-up-2.4.21rel-alt1
В последнем (вроде бы) и патч есть нужный (и Win4Lin так говорит).
Win4Lin пробовал разный, сейчас - Win4Lin TS 5.3.2b rel. s
Во всех случаях одно и то же:
1. install - OK. Появляется сервис Win4Lin, к-рый я, на всякий случай, off.
2. loadwindowsCD: <цитата>

3. Пойдем с другой стороны - service Win4Lin start.
top -d1
Наблюдаю, как медленно (1M/s) исчезает Free RAM, потом swap, а потом (когда оба =0) машина падает (ессно).
И, судя по логам, именно в том-же месте, что и в П.2.
Один человек сказал, что это - memory leak, и что RedHat - рулез, а AltLinux - MD.
Вопрос, конечно, спорный, но мне-то что делать?
