Доброго времени суток.
Есть машинка с мамой GA-8GE667 Pro на 845GE чипсете. На ней встроенная
сетевуха - не то какой-то загадочный Intel Kinnereth-R, не то
EtherExpress Pro 100 (в бумажном описании мамки первое, на сайте -
второе). Сейчас стоит Slackware с голым ядром 2.4.19 от kernel.org. Всё
пашет как часы (драйвер - eepro100).
Решил поставить Debian. Драйвер не видит сетевуху - выдает стандартную
отмазку, что не тот драйвер или девайс не работает. При пересборке ядра
из исходников Debian - та же фигня. diff исходников драйвера от
kernel.org и от debian показывает сходство один в один. Если запихнуть в
debian ядро от kernel.org - работает.
Мож кто сталкивался с чем подобным? Поделитесь, pls, как лечить? Не
хочется непатченное ядро ставить.
