Да не то, чтобы тяжело. Освоившись, лепишь из него все, что
угодно, особо не напрягаясь. Я, правда, ничего большого на нем
не делал, использую для решения мелких повседневных задач.
Вообще же подробные списки недостатков перла доступны на
перловых сайтах.
А пробовал ли кто-нибудь perl-6? Вроде бы для него LW взял все
лучшее и от самого перла, и от других языков, в т.ч. ruby.
