Здравствуйте!
Попробовал поставить ALT Junior 2.2 на старый комп: Pentium-166MMX и
плата VIA VT580 (так показывает BIOS при включении). ОЗУ 32 Мб.
Перепробовал все режимы установки: обычный, expert, text, expert+text,
но везде одни симптомы: грузится ядро с установочного CD-ROM, стартует "первая
стадия" программы установки, грузит с CD в память основной инсталлятор
(показывается "Loading program into memory" и полоса прогресса).
Затем пишет "in second stage install" и останавливается, при этом иногда
подергивая CD (моргает лампочка на нём). Ждал в таком состоянии 2 часа, но
ничего не продолжилось.
Подозреваю, что дело в чипсете VIA. Какая-то в нем кривизна...
Кстати, в другую попытку я указал в параметрах загрузки ядра "ide=nodma".
Тоже не помогло. Может, для отключения DMA на CD-ROM есть другие параметры
загрузки?
Еще я подозревал, что железо гнилое, но это отпадает, т.к. ASP Linux 7.3 встал
нормально.
Был ли у уважаемого Сообщества положительный опыт установки ALT Junior
(или Master) 2.2 на компы класса Pentium с чипсетами VIA?
Что еще можно указать ядру чтобы принудительно отключить этот ..... DMA ?
