документацию прочитал, написал в /etc/xinetd.d/leafnode что рекомендовано
делаю service xinetd restart - и leafnode пропадает
если нагло пускать вручную - говорит в логах:

но при этом gnus к нему не коннектятся
в /var/log/daemons/info все нормально, errors ругань про то, что
/usr/sbin/tcpd никаким демоном не является (кстати, а кто это? я его у себя
не нашел)
вот так :( а fetchnews исправно новости качает :(((
направьте на путь истинный
