поставил ALM, поставились такие пакеты:
[combr@combr combr]$ rpm -qa | grep font

при этом в иксах по умолчанию шрифты совершенно ужасно выглядят. буквы могут
быть толстые справа или слева, или чередоваться. выглядит как будто пытаются
масштабировать растровый шрифт.
например, в KNode или Xchat просто читать невозможно по умолчанию.
пытался в xchat настраивать шрифт, в диалоге выбора большинство шрифтов не
кои8, но перебором нашел-таки пару кои8-у (кои8-р вообще не нашел, может,
плохо перебирал).
где бы понастраивать|поподключать хорошие шрифты?
в mandrake9.0 все сразу по умолчанию было красиво и ровно....
