Здравствуйте!
1. Собственно -- подвисают иксы (при работе с Оперой, Мозиллой, Сульфидом или игре в кваку3). В случайные моменты времени. Не из-за перехода в текстовый режим.
Видеокарта Riva TNT2. Установлены:
NVIDIA_GLX-1.0.4191-alt2
NVIDIA_kernel-up-2.4.20_1.0.4191-alt5
XFree86-4.2.1.1-alt3, ядро - 2.4.20 (из коробки).
framebuffer не используется. Локаль ru_RU.UTF-8.
До этого на компьютере стоял ASPLinux с иксами 4.1 около года, проблем с иксами не было никогда (использовались NVIDIA-1.0.3126 или около того).
Квака 3я бегала сутками, сейчас -- после загрузки сразу зависает (отрисует сцену из успешно загруженного уровня и всё).
По сети на машину можно зайти, прибить иксы и перезапустить gdm, тогда всё корректно перестартует.
В логах чего-то очень подозрительного нет. Готов пробовать новые NVIDIA_*, как их проапгрейдить на старое ядро (смотрел в репозитарии, там только для 2.4.21)? Могу пересобрать пакеты.
