M 2.2. ставил "вчистую". Мозилой из поставки М2.2. не пользуюсь (блажь,
конечно, но мой любимый скин работает только под версией 1.0), да и моя
старая Мозилка работает как часы. Пытаюсь установить русский интерфейс
программы (стандартными средствами:
Preferences->Appearance->Languages/Content->installed language packs), после
чего он скачивает этот самый пак, после пытается установить в систему и
выдает: Chrome registration failed. Все. Еще раз повторю - в М 2.0. (при
таком же раскладе) все было ОК .

Простите, сглаживание было не отключено, оно попросту не включалось
изначально. После были установлены MS TTF в систему. Но Мозилла не видит их
все, например, - Georgia (мой любимый). Хотя, всякие там, Ариалы (в т.ч.
Ариал Нарроу) и Хельветики (именно МС ТТФ) кажет на ура (правда рендерит он
их не так хорошо, как в М2.0). Мозилла из поставки М 2.2 ведет себя точно
также.
