Т.е. hotbox.ru ? Тогда нужно использовать SMTP с авторизацией, а в
имени пользователя для авторизации указать полный почтовый адрес -
т.е. не some_name, а some_name@mailru.com. Но только для отправки -
для приёма по POP3/IMAP4 имя пользователя нужно писать без домена.
Т.е. имена для POP3 и SMTP должны быть разными.
Как это настроить в KMail - не знаю. В Sylpheed нужно в настройках
учётной записи на странице "Основные" указать имя пользователя без
домена, а на странице "Отправить" включить флажок "Авторизация SMTP" и
ввести имя пользователя с указанием домена.
