Лучше всего поискать какие-нибудь Chinese-HOWTO. Input-серверов довольно
много - chinput, kinput, xcin25, xsim

Да, именно оно. Есть толстенная O'Reilly'евская книга "CJKV Information
Processing", можно посмотреть ее. Но конкретных рецептов там нет.
