Из чего вы сделали такой странный вывод? Если ядро Linux
полугодовой давности не поддерживает мат. плату, вышедшую 2
месяца назад, это говорит только о том, что надо обновить ядро и
не пытаться бежать впереди паровоза, покупая неизведанные платы.

А где у вас есть такая уверенность? И на основании каких данных
вы хотите её получить? Или может быть посмотрите на Detonator к
картам NVIDIA, в котором что ни версия, то прирост
производительности на 25% :)
