Не говорите ерунду
Выход действительно один -
разобратся что происходит
А именно
1) сказать apt-get install apt , это обновит апт
2) сказать apt-get install (Пакет , который предлагают снести) и
посмотреть , что говорит апт
3) Иногда помогает rpm --rebuilddb
4) По обстоятельствам
