Если нужна лочка, то xscreensaver идеологически правильнее. Об
этом даже в man xlock написано...

Хм... А я его что, в сизифа не положил? Оказалось нет. А
теперь еще и потерял ;-) Вообще да, нужен. Кстати, очень
прятная штука есть - wmweather+
(http://www.dockapps.org/file.php/id/112), но к сожалению за
пределами США этот апплет практически бесполезен :-(
