Можно попробовать настроить через драйвер hpjs, через него мне
удалось добиться нормальных результатов. А align.ps вроде только
для Letter нормально проходит, по крайней мере у меня не
получилось.
А в общем все они какие-то кривые, одни удлиняют страницы, другие
сдвигают направо... У меня нормально печатает только через
gimp-драйверы (но там почему весь чёрный диффузный и для текста
он не подходит) и ещё я взял ppd-файл с компакта к принтеру
(тоже всё хорошо с полями, но он только для прямой печати
PostScript, а при этом какие-то глюки со шрифтами у принтера -
какие-то чёрточки выползают и прочая дребедень.)
А вообще обратите внимание в ppd-файла чтобы дефолты (типа
*DefaultPageSize: A4) стояли не на Letter.
