В /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 про мышь должно быть:
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "ZAxisMapping "4 5"
IMPS/2 возникает по причине того, что драйвер для USB-мышей переводит
события от мыши именно в этот формат.
