Это почему вдруг?
Ничего подобного намеду не фиксируется. Файлов типа "имя - адрес" у него
не бывает по определению (кроме hints file для корневых серверов).
Этот HOWTO к чему относился-то?

Почти единственный действительно работающий способ - заставить намед
сбросить свой кэш в файл (диагностический экспорт, делается через SIGINT
для named8 и rndc dumpdb для named9) и просмотреть его глазами.
Если кэширование есть, то будут записи для спрошенных имен.
Но вообще слишком нереальное событие, чтобы кэширование не работало.
