Для данного случая могу порекомендовать почитать описания функций модуля
re - это реализация регулярных выражений в Python. Обрабатывать только те
строки, которые подпадут под заданный шаблон. Или таким же образом
отлавливать строки с шапкой документа и пропускать их.
