Я им просто пользовался, так что ничего особенного рассказать не могу :
ломать не ломал, относительно честная версия была, взял, поставил. Работало. Не
глючило, не падало, не ошибалось - работало.
Особенно прикольно графики на текстовой консоли рисовались - не
так как гнуплот, а по-другому, прикольней. А все остальное как обычно - сэкономил мне кучу времени
тогда ( ну раз он вам "очень нужен" - вы понимаете о чем я, графики-то ладно, можно и карандашиком
нарисовать). Консольный интерфейс очень даже ниче - люблю программы с консольными
интерфейсами, в X-ах симпатичный гуй с одним-единственным недостатком : лично я не люблю
гуи на основе мотифа.
Постепенно библиотеки дрейфовали и он запускаться перестал, какое-то время я его
в чруте из древних библиотек запускал, вот сбсно и все - а так у них на сайте вроде лежала версия
и более современная и т.п., правда все эти коммерческие продукты преимущественно на REDHAT
ориентированы или другие несвежие дистрибутивы, боюсь под передовым Alt проблема дрейфа
библиотек будет вечной - но это чистая теория и может быть неверная.
