По той же причине, покакой он использкеться в OpenBSD.
Безопасность. 8-ку "вылизывали" давно и тщательно, по
этому естьдостаточно высокая уверенност что криминальных
дырок в ней нет. bind9 еще достаточно молод и серьезно за
его аудит никто еще не брался .
