Народ, возможно кто-то сталкивался со следующей проблемой -- часто
виснут "иксы", в самый неподходящий момент. Железо: видеокарта --
NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX400 64 Mb, мать -- P4 ASUS266 SE. Тут ещё затесалась
мышь "на колёсах" JM-303P. Судя по всему, XFdrake считает, что это
"NVIDIA GeForce2 DDR (generic)". Замена на "NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400"
не очень-то помогает, хотя в RH7.1CE, стоявшем на этой машине ранее,
иксы работали стабильно. Но в его XF86Config-4 прописаны немного другие
данные о карте:
Identifier "NVIDIA GeForce 2 (generic)"
Driver "nv"
В то время, как в ALM прописан драйвер "nvidia". Не обяснит ли кто в
чём разница между драйвером "nv" и "nvidia"? Один "фирменный", другой
нет?
