насчет ошибки - выполнить от пользователя root:
rpm --rebuilddb
насчет меню - также от root
update-menus -n
насчет курсора - не знаю. возможно из-за кривой настройки видео (были какие-то
проблемы), или что-то еще, лучше спросить у Zerg-а (Сергея Турчина).
