Итак, начнем сначала:
Есть :
NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-2880.src.rpm
NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2880.src.rpm
Делаем так - для начала установил
исходники ядра linux-2.4.18-alt0.2.pre4
затем делаю следующее:
в /etc/group прописываю строку rpm:x:16:den где den имя пользователя ест-но.
дальше:
rpmbuild --rebuild --target athlon NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-2880.src.rpm
проходит все без проблем
rpmbuild --rebuild --target athlon NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2880.src.rpm
нихрена не проходит:
....
/video/NVdriver
+ unset RPM_BUILD_ROOT
+ /usr/lib/rpm/brp-alt
brp-alt: non-/ $RPM_BUILD_ROOT expected
ошибка: Неверный код возврата из /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.33636 (%install)

что за фигня? Объясните в чем проблема плиз?
Ну да ладно... делаем так:
rpmbuild --rebuild --target athlon-alt NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2880.src.rpm
Все проходит как по маслу.
В итоге имеем два пакета в /usr/src/RPM/RPMS/athlon
NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-2880.athlon.rpm
NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2880.athlon.rpm
ПРИ ПОПЫТКЕ ИХ УСТАНОВИТЬ
NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2880.athlon.rpm is a for different operating system
в чем проблема? (по английски я все понимаю :) - проблем с ним нет ).
Вроде исходники ядра были родные - со второго диска Мастера.
Если устанавливать эти пакеты по тупому rpm -i --force то в итоге Иксы просто не стартуют
Ругаются на Nvidia Kernel Module, до этого я все поправил в modules.conf(вернее проследил за тем что строка загрузки Нвидейского ядра присутствует) и конфиге Иксов.
Пробовал делать modprobe NVdriver - вроде как подгружается без проблем, смотрел
lsmod.static - все ГУД - подгружен вроде, но Иксы все равно не бычат.
Большая просьба - поможите люди добрые разобраться, а то перейду блин в клан ASP Linux :)
на версии 7.2 вышеизложенного не наблюдалось, все ставилось легко и быстро. АЛьТ чета намутил без меры - короче гады они, я уже задолбался с Нвидийскими дровами возиться.
