У них на старте стоит проверка NETWORKING=YES (или как-то так), а оно
прописывается в /etc/sysconfig/network. Кстати, без сетки на "Весне" еще и
lo-интерфейс не поднимался, что жутко мешало. Лечится ручной ревизией
содержимого /etc/sysconfig/.
