Чуда не будет. KDE штука, которая требует многого, зависимости в пакете указаны не от фонаря,
если их нарушить, то что поставлено будетнеработоспособным.

Если ставилось в режиме "эксперт", то претензию ИМХО надо адресовать не авторам дистрибутива,
а тому "эксперту", который проводил установку.

ИМХО работает и неплохо.
Зато теперь я знаю по крайней мере одного человека, который пользует WindowMaker, к тому же
живёт в POSIX-е :)
