О новом релизе Вы можете прочитать на сайте.
Что касается драйвера NVIDIA, то он работает. Но свободный
драйвер довольно примитивен, так как NVIDIA не отрыла
спецификации. Фирма выпустила свой закрытый драйвер, который
нельзя клаcть на диск (и даже на ftp) по условиям лицензии,
а потому для его использования необходимо пересобрать
src.rpm от NVIDIA.
