Не надо на себя наговаривать. Никогда так не считаю. А глупые ошибки все

Это хуже всего. Mirror, X-Downloader способны продираться через сколь
угодно грязный канал. А вот с rsync у меня не раз бывали случаи, что
модемное соединение (начально, скажем, на 48000) держится всю ночь, а
rsync уснул несколько часов назад. Обнаружить такое, проснувшись утром,
очень обидно. Нормальная программа на этот случай всё должна содержать в
себе, без обвесок, хоть и несложных.
