Посмотрел на altlinux-p7-sysv-tde-20131128-i586.iso
И интерес к образу пропал начиная с boot menu.
Опции меню:
Загрузка с жёсткого диска
Установка
Установка с выключенным IOAPIC
Проверка оперативной памяти
Странно...

был лайв-инсталлом, что полностью компенсировало отсутствие rescue в образе.
Жаль...
Даже наличие sysv не компенсировало потерю live(rescue) в образе.
