ab очень удобен, чтобы быстро из командной строки произвести простой
тест. Сразу можно увидеть, например, отстойность CGI. Наоборот, MS
WAST управляется GUI и позволяет сделать некие продвинутые
бенчмарки, например, имитировать работу нескольких разных
пользователей, каждый из к-рых имеет свое имя, пароль и cookie. Такого,
AFAIK, ab сделать не позволяет.
