Удалил. Все работает. Но сбросились все настройки какие были.
Наверное, надо было просто поменять права на доступ. Можно как-нибудь
восстановить теперь файл?

в этом, видимо, и была моя ошибка.
И еще, все-таки куда-то делось меня для входа, то есть теперь
загружается командная строка, а не как раньше окошко графическое.
Не то что бы мне без него плохо, наверное даже лучше. Еще не решил, но
ведь куда-то оно делось?
