Попробуйте поставить руками (ну или собрать в пакет и установить
штатными средствами, если умеете собирать пакеты) нужную версию
библиотеки дополнительно к текущей. В 90% случаев этого (и, возможно,
доустановки тем же манером библиотек, от которых она зависит) будет
достаточно.
