Тут недалече про сканеры разговор зашел.

Лично тестил HP и UMAX.
В тестах Umax (2200) оказался значительно лучше HP (4300)- примерно по
характеристикам одна весовая категория. Но установка Umax- дело не
для новичков (в Junior нет необходимых пакетов),с HP попроще.
Но, если намерены работать со сканером и в винде, то HP далек от
идеала мечтаний ибо у него тупейшая программа сканирования (хотя
аппаратная часть вполне на уровне).
(Традиция HP - все для ламера)
