День добрый!
Потратил вечер на установку сего чуда. Первые впечатления (создателям,
чтоб не повадно было ;-)
1. Может позволить в режиме Эксперт удовлетворять зависимости на свой
вкус? Или зависимости как-нибудь поумнее делать? Иначе ставится куча
барахла от которого нельзя отказаться только потому, что ее прописали
где-то в dependencies к какому-нибудь kde-base. В результате чтобы
поставить этот самый KDE на "посмотреть" надо тащить еще пол
дистрибутива.
2. Почти к тому-же: какого дьявола нужен GRUB, если я говорю ставить
LILO? Почему он к дистрибутиву болтами прикручен, даже если не
используется?
3. WindowMaker полностью непригодный к использованию. Контрол-панель
его где-то забыли, висит русская менюшка с гордой надписью Mandrake,
хотя LC_MESSAGES стоит POSIX. В ней даже Exit забыли сделать, зато не
забыли "Приколы". Блин! Прибит толстыми гвоздями
какой-то кривой терминал (см. п.1) - какое он отношение к WM
имеет? Болтается иконка WMNet, которого и действительно нет ;-) Про
темы, которые даже в родном tar.gz лежат я не говорю - тоже куда-то
потерялись. Может стоило собрать пакет без самодеятельности, как есть,
вместо того чтобы портить хорошую вещь? Не жирно-ли для 4-х дискового
дистрибутива оконный менеджер сразу в сорцах выкачивать и
пересобирать?
PS. Злой я. Буду еще ругаться :-(
PPS. И ftp.altlinux.ru криво работает.
