Извините, Вы непоняли...
Это как раз обьяснение ситуации, почему именно НЕНУЖНО
отдавать линуху все гигабайты оперативки под кеширование
файловой системы. Ну неправильно это! Пускай их использует
оракл (и для кеширования БД с raw device в том числе), он
и делает воощемто все для себя сам. (ну почти ;) )
Почему хочется? А почему бы нет?!
