Да... И можно через putty выполнить комманды с центрального хоста, чтобы
выключить удаленные машины

Просто запустите с консоли например ./pbe_agent_linux_jvm.bin из текущего
каталога

Если ее нет, то упс придется подключать напрямую к цуправляющему хосту.
- если упс центральный питает все, то один хост гасит все остальные машины
- если у каждой машины свой упс, то либо simple signaling daemon либо
Network shutdown для линукс. Они выключают локальные машины.
- или такая вариация - агент работает с упсом, на центральном хосте Power
Shute Busnes Edition, он контрлирует агенты и также удаленно выключает
машины если надо через тот же putty
Все варианты работоспособные на практике.
