Очень просто: в acc на моей машине (слабовата по нынешним временам -
Duron-800, 256MB, но не для пакетменеджера же...) отметка одного пакета
выполняется 4 сек. Установка нескольких пакетов превращается в испытание
нервной системы. У синаптика все же пошустрее.

Разумеется, я обычно пользую apt/rpm, а это посмотрел в основном ради
любопытства. Но есть же еще и избалованные гуями юзеры. Да и на этапе
инсталляции выбора нет.
