Имеется такая ситуация: при сборки пакета ядра для spec файла
взял за основу пример из kernel-build-tools и скорректировал его на
предмет наложения патчей. Произвожу сборку и на стадии %install
получаю ошибку:
+ gcc -o rhkmvtag /home/msv/RPM/SOURCES/rhkmvtag.c init/version.o
i586-alt-linux-gcc: /home/msv/RPM/SOURCES/rhkmvtag.c: No such file or directory
ошибка: Неверный код возврата из /home/msv/tmp/rpm-tmp.13542 (%install)
Ошибки сборки пакетов:

У меня такое подозрение, что действие это скорее всего не сильно
нужное, однако дело было к ночи и я не стал пробовать просто удалить
соответствующее место в spec файле.
Подскажите действительно ли можно не делать эту операцию. И в целях
самообразования, если можно, объясните ее цель.
