Не то - я бы представил решение как хак какого-нибудь браузера на предмет
обучения его по скрипту ходить, заполнять поля, щелкать на кнопочки, etc.
Собственно проверка линков не нужна - нужно проверять реакцию интерфейса на
некоторые действия в нем, фиксировать джаваскриптовые (от браузера) и
пхпэшные ерроры (проверка содержимого страницы регэкспом), алерты в попапах и
прочее в том же духе.
Не попадалось на глаза что-нибудь вроде?
