Устанавливая в компьютер временно дополнительный диск, случайно оторвал
кабель питания от флоппи. Диск снял, а оторваный кабель так и не заметил.
Как результат - машина стала притормаживатьперед выводом меню LILO,
а машины виртуальные под VMware попросту отказались грузиться ( у них
реальный флоп первым при загрузке стоял)
