Про DDS3 конкретно - не знаю . Для устройств exabyte управление плотностью
записи и компрессией устанавливается параметром density settinng (плотность
записи). Задается в команде mt. Без компрессии (7 Mb на ленту 160 метров) -
density setting 20 , С компрессией (14 Mb на ленту 160 метров) - density
setting 21.
Еще через mt в принципе задается параметр compression, но для exabyte он не
действует. Вобщем - соответствие устройств в плане density будет таким , как
ты назначишь, а конкретные значения для настройки ищи в документации на свое
устройство.
