Доброго дня, у кого он добрый.
Наношу грабли на карту.
Было:
Spring-2001 на 60-гигабайтном HDD.
Случилось:
Отказ вентилятора на блоке питания, как следствие - перегрев памяти....
Стало:
"Поехала" ФС (машина стояла на сборке проекта), система с горем пополам
работает в single режиме.
Самое противное - reiserfsck грохается по segfault. Идентифицировать причину
падежа и хотя бы отослать багрепорт - практически невозможно, т.к. шаг
влево/шаг вправо ведёт к kernel panic.
Итого:
Понятно, что бэкапить 40GB в домашних условиях нереально, но господа,
сохраняйте хотя бы самое основное!
Мне уже не очень жалко времени, которое я потратил на прошлой неделе, втыкая
пачку ZIP-дискет....
От сбоев годами работающего оборудования не застрахован никто :(
Backup, backup и ещё раз backup!
